At 34 years old, André Ayew continues to etch his legend in the top European leagues. This weekend, during Havre AC’s defeat against Toulouse (1-2), the Ghanaian international scored the only goal for Havre.

This goal marked a new milestone in his career. André Ayew scored his 50th goal in Ligue 1 this weekend, making him the top scorer among Ghanaian players in the history of the French league, surpassing his father, Abedi Pelé (42 goals). The Black Star achieved this feat after playing 194 matches.

Additionally, Ayew is currently the third most capped Ghanaian player in Ligue 1, with only 27 appearances separating him from the top spot. Before his return to France, the 34-year-old winger represented Olympique de Marseille for 6 seasons and spent one season on loan at FC Lorient.
