West Ham United manager David Moyes has expressed his disappointment at Mohamed Kudus’ final appearance for the club ahead of the 2023 African Cup of Nations.

The West Ham star will head to Ghana this weekend to begin preparations for next month’s tournament in Ivory Coast.

Kudus has performed brilliantly since joining the London club in the summer transfer window, scoring 10 goals in 23 games.

Moyes urged “other players” to step up in the Ghanaian star’s absence after Thursday night’s win over Arsenal.
