Introduced from the bench in the 85th minute, the Ivorian winger turned savior, propelling the Red Devils into the semi-finals. On a swift counterattack, Diallo struck the ball low past the post to defeat Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Amad Diallo also earned praise from Erik ten Hag.

He doesn’t always get the playing time he deserves despite his performances in training, but then he comes on, and then he shows his contribution by scoring a goal. The 21-year-old player missed the first months of the season due to a knee injury and only made his senior debut at the end of December. He then had to wait until late February for his next appearances, coming off the bench in matches against Fulham and Nottingham Forest in the Premier League and FA Cup, respectively.
