Didier Drogba victim of identity theft

Ivorian football legend Didier Drogba announced this Tuesday that he has been a victim of identity theft and urged his followers to massively report the imposter’s account.

In an era where technology is advancing exponentially, some individuals with malicious intent continue to purposefully exploit new technologies.

It’s no longer uncommon to encounter practices such as phishing or identity theft. These practices have become rampant and affect all social strata. This Tuesday, Ivorian icon Didier Drogba denounced an instance of identity theft.

“My dear brothers and sisters, don’t fall for it! This is a scam, a fake. It’s truly sad that some people are using my name and that of the foundation to steal and deceive. Beware of the harmful use of artificial intelligence,” stated Didier Drogba, before urging his followers to “report this account as much as possible.”
