Ivorian international Franck Kessié is once again being celebrated in Ivory Coast after deciding to gift a villa to a player, a gesture that has garnered admiration from internet users. Here are the details:
Through his foundation based in Ivory Coast, Franck Kessié brought together local players at a gala named “Pro, it’s pro.” Several football personalities attended, including Emerse Faé, Idriss Diallo, among others.
During the ceremony, the trophy of the 2023 AFCON (Africa Cup of Nations) was also displayed. The match featured a showdown between International Pros and Local Pros, with the International Pros emerging victorious. The main objective was to promote local talent in Ivory Coast. Franck Kessié decided to gift a villa to the best local player, prompting one internet user to comment:
“Franck Yannick Kessié, THANK YOU! He might not be the greatest Ivorian footballer, but he has a pure and kind heart. Having played in this local league and lived in these conditions, he understands better than anyone the needs of his young brothers and friends in this environment. 1. These are initiatives to be encouraged to enhance the image of local football.”
