Sébastien Haller, the Ivorian international, has no desire to become a coach at the end of his playing career.
The former Ajax Amsterdam striker sees himself in a different field other than coaching after his professional retirement.
Aware that the coaching profession is very demanding and involves a lot of travel, Sébastien Haller is already dismissing the possibility.
The Ivorian wants a more peaceful and less stressful retirement in order to spend more time with his family and not be under the pressure of matches.
“I don’t want to be a coach. I’ve already moved ten times with my wife. That’s enough (laughs).
However, plans are made to be changed. Right now, as a footballer, I don’t have ten more years in my career. I simply want to continue enjoying myself, making the best choices, and having the transition at the end of my career go as smoothly as possible.
After my career, I would like to have the pleasure of managing my own schedule, being closer to my family and children, and pursuing projects that are close to my heart,” he said in an interview with Forbes Afrique.
Unless there is a major surprise, we can expect to see Sébastien Haller in a softer field after his football career.
So, there’s no question of continuing with football, or at least not as a coach.
