He has often found himself on the bench under Okan Buruk, who preferred other players.
This situation seriously complicated Zaha’s selection for the Ivory Coast national team in the early stages of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. Faced with such circumstances, Wilfried Zaha might be contemplating his future away from Galatasaray.
However, unless there’s a major change, the Ivorian, who is likely to receive several offers, is expected to once again don the Galatasaray colors next season.
Regarding this, Zaha recently posted an enigmatic message on his Instagram account, hinting at his future plans.
“I need to clear my head (before making a decision),” Wilfried Zaha posted on his Instagram story, expressing his desire to start the new season on a positive note.
After missing out on the 2024 AFCON and several important matches with Ivory Coast, Wilfried Zaha is expected to regain his top form and make his return to the Elephants’ squad.
