Former Juventus striker Fabrizio Ravanelli has warned Napoli that replacing Victor Osimhen would be very difficult this summer.
Osimhen has been linked with a departure from Napoli this summer, with top clubs like PSG, Arsenal, and Chelsea in an expensive race for the striker’s services.
There seems to be an acceptance within the club that the Nigerian striker will leave at the end of the season despite signing a contract extension last November.
According to reports, the 25-year-old has a release clause of around €130 million in his new contract.
It must be said that this is a figure that should not deter the European elite.
Ravanelli says Osimhen will be difficult to replace. Victor Osimhen, who scored 31 goals as Napoli secured their first Scudetto victory in over 30 years, will certainly attract interest from most teams, and Ravanelli has warned Napoli to be cautious. “Osimhen is among the best strikers in the world. He has incredible ferocity and is not afraid of anything. It won’t be easy for Napoli to replace him,” Ravanelli said according to Napoli Magazine.
Victor Osimhen has scored 13 goals for Napoli this season, in what has been a disappointing title defense.
