After securing their place in Ligue 1 at the end of the 2025-2026 season, Paris FC aims to continue its progress in the upcoming campaign. The capital club, promoted and finishing 11th without any real threat of relegation, now wants to establish itself firmly in the elite of French football.
To take a step forward, the Parisian management is preparing for a particularly active summer transfer window in 2026. The goal is to attract four to five new signings, with a total budget estimated at around 50 million euros, to strengthen the squad led by Antoine Kombouaré.

One of the top targets remains Matthis Abline. The 23-year-old forward, currently at FC Nantes, appears available on the market after the club’s relegation to Ligue 2, reigniting Paris FC’s interest in his attacking profile.
The Paris club is also keeping an eye on a defender from RC Lens. According to some reports, Malang Sarr is among the targeted players. Arriving at Lens in 2024 from Chelsea FC, the 27-year-old center-back has established himself as a regular this season, with 33 starts in Ligue 1 in a three-man defense system.
With his contract expiring in June 2026, a free transfer would represent an interesting opportunity for Paris FC, both on the sporting and financial fronts. On the other hand, RC Lens, now managed by Pierre Sage, may be forced to reorganize its defense in case of departures, especially since several key players like Adrien Thomasson, Allan Saint-Maximin, and Wesley Saïd are already not expected to be around for the next season.
