On his way out of Bayern Munich, Nicolas Jackson’s new destination revealed!

While Bayern Munich has chosen not to activate the purchase option for Nicolas Jackson, the Senegalese striker might already be eyeing a new destination for next summer… heading to Turkey. The Istanbul club Fenerbahçe has reportedly shown interest to Chelsea in strengthening their attacking line.

Loaned out last September to Bayern with the hope of making a mark in the Bundesliga, the Senegal international has struggled to establish himself in Vincent Kompany’s squad. His time in Germany ends with a modest record: three goals in fifteen league matches. This performance is deemed insufficient by the Munich management, who have decided not to trigger the purchase option at the end of the season.

This new setback comes after already criticized performances at Chelsea, where his lack of efficiency in front of goal raised questions. Now, several top European clubs seem hesitant to commit, opening the door to other markets.

In this context, Fenerbahçe appears as a serious candidate. Seeking fresh talent and additional solutions in attack, the Turkish club has reportedly begun preliminary discussions with the player’s entourage. The Istanbul management appreciates his athletic profile and versatility, believing he could quickly adapt and bring a new attacking spark.

Under contract with Chelsea until 2033, Nicolas Jackson would prefer a permanent transfer this time rather than another loan. Valued at around 45 million euros, his market price could be adjusted downward, as the London club is willing to lighten its wage bill to facilitate a potential deal.
