Senegalese international midfielder Mamadou Lamine Camara is changing scenery. The former RS Berkane player has officially signed with Al-Ittihad Tripoli, the current leader of the Libyan league.
After two unsuccessful transfer attempts to Stoke City and then Al-Ahly Tripoli, the third time was the charm. At 23 years old, the player joins the Tripoli club for an estimated fee of 2.5 million dollars, with an annual salary around 1.2 million dollars. This is a significant investment for Al-Ittihad, who have pulled off a great deal in the transfer market.

A champion of Africa with Senegal and a winner of the U20 AFCON, the former Darou Salam player leaves Morocco after more than five full seasons at Berkane, where he established himself as a key figure in midfield. A two-time winner of the CAF Cup and Moroccan champion, and named the best foreign player in the league last season, Camara arrives in Libya with a solid reputation.
Al-Ittihad is counting on his playing volume, physical impact, and continental experience to assert their dominance on the national stage and fuel big ambitions on the African front.
