Transfer window: It’s confirmed for Iliman Ndiaye

The path to Manchester is becoming clearer for Iliman Ndiaye. The Senegalese international from Everton is among the most sought-after players as the summer transfer window of August 2026 approaches. His performances have caught the eye of scouts, and Manchester United is reportedly keeping a close watch on his progress, according to multiple sources.

Arriving at Everton in the summer of 2024 from Olympique de Marseille for around 20 million euros (nearly 13.1 billion CFA francs), Iliman Ndiaye’s stock has skyrocketed in just a few months. According to British media TEAMtalk, the Toffees’ management now values the Senegalese winger at 75 million pounds, which is about 56.7 billion CFA francs — more than triple his initial transfer fee.

This surge hasn’t gone unnoticed in Europe. Everton might struggle to keep hold of their player at the end of the season with increasing competition. Manchester United is closely monitoring his development, but they’re not alone: Inter Milan in Serie A and Atlético Madrid in La Liga are also keeping tabs on the 2025 African champion’s situation.

According to several sources, the Red Devils are growing more confident about their chances of signing Ndiaye during the upcoming summer transfer window. Despite significant investments already made to strengthen their attacking line, Manchester United is still considering adding a new winger who can bring speed, power, and versatility.

In the last transfer window, Old Trafford attracted several attacking profiles: Benjamin Šeško (18 matches, 4 goals), Bryan Mbeumo (18 matches, 8 goals), and Matheus Cunha (20 matches, 5 goals). But the Manchester management isn’t stopping there and continues to explore the market to bolster their offensive arsenal.

Iliman Ndiaye’s profile keeps coming up in internal discussions. His triumph at AFCON 2025 with Senegal has likely further boosted his value in the transfer market.

With this buzz, Everton is already considering a contract reevaluation. Tied to the club until June 2029, Ndiaye is not expected to leave Liverpool during the winter transfer window. According to journalist Ben Jacobs, the Toffees have no intention of selling their winger in January. Even better, discussions could begin after the winter window to extend or improve his contract to deter potential suitors.

Since joining Everton, Iliman Ndiaye has participated in 56 matches across all competitions, scoring a total of 15 goals. This season, the former Sheffield United player has already played 17 matches, with a tally of 4 goals and 2 assists.

Beyond the raw numbers, his stats highlight his influence on the game: 74% successful dribbles, 102 duels won — including 6 aerial duels — 469 passes with an 82% success rate, 7 interceptions, and 8 shots on target in the opponent’s box. These figures confirm his key role in the Toffees’ attacking play.
