The Senegalese Football Federation has released an official statement to inform the public about the situation of Senegalese supporters currently detained in Morocco. They were apprehended following the incidents that occurred during the final of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, won by the Lions of Teranga.

In its statement, the FSF emphasizes its ongoing commitment to ensuring the safety and rights of its supporters, while assuring that diplomatic and legal efforts are being closely monitored to defend their interests. The statement also reaffirms the total solidarity of Senegalese football with its fans and calls for a fair and just resolution for them.
