The Guinean Football Federation (FGF) has announced with immense sadness the passing of Fodé Soumah, known as Billy Mc Coy, an iconic figure in Guinean football. He notably played for the prestigious Hafia FC and proudly wore the colors of the Syli National, significantly contributing to the successes of his teams throughout his career.

The death of Fodé Soumah, which occurred on Monday, March 2, 2026, at Ignace Deen Hospital due to illness, is a tremendous loss for Guinean football and for all who knew him.
