A persistent rumor is stirring social media and some British media: Did Cristiano Ronaldo leave Saudi Arabia in the dead of night on his private jet, amid heightened security tensions in the Middle East?
According to the British tabloid The Sun, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner quietly boarded his Bombardier Global Express with his family for a flight of about seven hours to Madrid. The aircraft reportedly flew over Egypt and then the Mediterranean before landing in Spain in the early morning hours. This news comes as regional tensions raise concerns among many expatriates living in the Gulf.

These same sources suggest that this departure is linked to reports of Iranian drone strikes targeting the U.S. embassy in Riyadh. While no official confirmation has been widely circulated regarding such an incident, several observers consider the security climate in the region concerning. In this context, some foreign nationals are contemplating temporarily leaving the area as a precaution.
Since arriving at Al-Nassr, Cristiano Ronaldo has been living in Riyadh with his partner Georgina Rodríguez and their five children. A prominent figure in the Saudi league since his transfer, the Portuguese forward is one of the most publicized faces of the kingdom’s sports project. A hasty departure, even if temporary, would be a highly symbolic event.
Additionally, his former Manchester United teammate, Rio Ferdinand, has reportedly mentioned a tense situation in Dubai, where he is currently with his family. He spoke of a climate similar to a lockdown, further fueling speculation about a potential exodus of several foreign personalities in the region.

However, these reports are far from unanimous. A source close to the Saudi media outlet Al-Riyadiyah claims that Cristiano Ronaldo is still in Saudi Arabia. According to this version, there was no nighttime escape or emergency move to Spain.
At this point, the lack of official communication from the player or his entourage keeps things murky. With media rumors and local denials swirling, the situation remains uncertain, leaving doubts about the reality of a potential hasty departure of the Portuguese star.
