Paris Saint-Germain shared heartbreaking news with its supporters on Monday evening. The capital club announced the passing of Jack Jacquet, who died on Sunday, March 1, 2026, honoring the memory of a figure deeply connected to its history.
Although he never wore the Parisian jersey or held an executive role within the first team, Jack Jacquet left a lasting mark on PSG through his long-standing commitment. Present from the club’s early days, he dedicated over half a century to the Red and Blue, embodying a loyalty and passion that are rarely matched.

In the 1970s, he took the helm of the PSG Friends Association, already working to unite fans around the club’s colors. In 1990, he joined the PSG Association as general manager before becoming vice-president. His constant involvement greatly contributed to structuring and energizing this essential entity in the life of the club.
Deeply committed to youth development, he also engaged in running the football school, actively supporting and nurturing many young talents. Through his volunteer work, sense of community, and unwavering attachment to the jersey, he leaves a lasting legacy in Parisian history.
A tribute will be paid to him on Friday evening at Parc des Princes, ahead of the match against AS Monaco, kicking off the 25th round of Ligue 1. The club has also extended its heartfelt condolences to his wife, children, grandchildren, and all his loved ones during this time of profound sadness.
