Bayern responds to Real about Michael Olise

Bayern Munich: Herbert Hainer shuts the door on a departure for Michael Olise despite interest from Real Madrid

Bayern Munich has no intention of parting ways with Michael Olise. In light of the swirling rumors about a potential transfer of the French international to Real Madrid, the president of the Bavarian club, Herbert Hainer, made it clear that Olise is not going anywhere.

For several weeks, various European media have reported growing interest from Real Madrid in the 24-year-old winger. Some reports even claimed that Madrid president Florentino Pérez was preparing a bid of around 150 million euros to convince Bayern Munich to let go of their star player. This proposal was said to be part of the Spanish club’s future sporting project, aiming to strengthen its squad for upcoming European campaigns.

But in Munich, the message is clear: Michael Olise is not for sale.

During a meeting with fans reported by the German newspaper Bild, Herbert Hainer directly addressed the speculation surrounding the former Crystal Palace player. The Bavarian leader reminded everyone that the Frenchman is under a long-term contract with Bayern and is fully part of the club’s plans.

“Michael Olise is a Bayern Munich player under a long-term contract, and we do not sell our players. If Florentino Pérez wants to make an offer – which he hasn’t done yet – he can save himself the trouble,” Hainer stated, putting an end to discussions about a potential departure.

This stance reflects Bayern’s desire to build its future around the French winger. Arriving in the summer of 2024, Michael Olise quickly established himself as one of the most talented players in the Munich squad. With his technical quality, speed, and creativity in the final third, he has become an essential part of the Bavarian setup.

According to several sources close to the club, the entire management shares the same vision regarding the player’s future. Influential figures like Uli Hoeneß, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Jan-Christian Dreesen, Max Eberl, and Christoph Freund unanimously support keeping the French international.

Despite the ongoing speculation, Florentino Pérez himself downplayed these reports during an appearance on Spanish television. The Madrid president denied that the 150 million euro offer mentioned in the press was for Michael Olise. However, several media outlets continue to assert that the Frenchman is among Real Madrid’s priorities for the coming years.

The rumored future coach of the Madrid club, José Mourinho, also appreciates the player’s profile and sees him as an important piece of his sporting project. However, these ambitions clash with Bayern Munich’s determination.

Under contract until 2029, Michael Olise enjoys the full confidence of his leaders. For the German champions, he represents one of the cornerstones of their long-term project. No matter how big the offers that may come in the coming months, Bayern stands firm: the French international is considered non-transferable, and his future is clearly in Bavaria.
