Nicolas Jackson’s German adventure is coming to an end. Bayern Munich has decided not to activate the purchase option included in the Senegalese striker’s loan deal. At 24, he is set to return to Chelsea FC at the end of the season, before considering a new challenge.
Recruited in Bavaria last summer on a conditional loan, Jackson needed to start 40 matches for his transfer to become automatic. He fell short of that target. In one season, he played 21 matches, scoring 5 goals and providing 1 assist — a record deemed insufficient by the Munich management.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Bayern has already informed Chelsea of its decision not to activate the purchase option. The African champion will thus return to Stamford Bridge in the coming weeks.
However, this return to England might just be a temporary step. According to Topskills Sports UK, several clubs are closely monitoring his situation, including Fenerbahçe S.K., eager to strengthen their attack. Having previously played for Villarreal CF, Jackson remains a powerful profile, capable of impacting opposing defenses. With his experience and athletic qualities, the former Casa Sports player should attract plenty of interest during the next transfer window.
