One year after this legendary match, Netflix unveiled an exclusive documentary on its platform called “Captains of the World”. It features never-before-seen videos and images from the competition organised by Qatar. The images are so captivating that they give the impression that the World Cup is being played today.
However, one of the sequences in this documentary that caught the attention of football fans was the provocation of Dibu Martinez, the Albiceleste goalkeeper, towards Kylian Mbappé, the triple scorer in the final. As the Paris striker tried to take a penalty during the final, the Aston Villa goalkeeper, who left a bad reputation after that match, approached the Bondynois. He made a visibly obscene gesture with his hip, with the sole aim of disturbing Kylian Mbappé.

Is he the best striker I’ve ever faced? He clearly is. When Messi and Ronaldo retire, I think he’ll take over and win plenty of Ballons d’Or,” he told France Football.
